Donna Lynn Wisel
December 9, 1964 ~ July 22, 2022

Donna Lynn Wisel, 57 of Lahoma passed away Friday July 22, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center along the side of her granddaughter.

Donna was born December 9, 1964, in Enid, Oklahoma to Charles and Faye Wisel. Donna loved the OU softball and football games along with her granddaughter’s softball and basketball games. She was always the loudest one in the room and wasn’t afraid to admit it. As she once said “I will never be remembered as the one who kept her mouth shut” as you could say she was their biggest fan.

For most of her lifelong occupation she was the housekeeping supervisor at a few of the local hotels along with also doing both laundry and housekeeping at the local nursing homes as well.

Donna was common law married to George Boss for 12 ½ years. He was her best friend and love of her life. When he passed, he took a huge part of Donna with him. She never once failed to smile when she talked about George. George was her home, and needless to say she got to go home on Friday.

Donna was survived by her 4 siblings Lisa Newberry of Wardsville, Randy Wisel an Chuck Wisel of Enid, and Marsha Rice of Lahoma. Her 2 children LaDonna Wisel and Joshua Wisel of Lahoma. Along with her 6 grandchildren Nakita, Natilie, Nikki, Nash, Nakiah, and Nowa. She was proceeded in death by her husband George Boss, parents Charles and Faye Wisel, brother Brain Wisel and nephew Chris Wisel.

In the last few weeks Donna got to spend every moment with her grandkids. If you had ever talked to her, you would have known that her grandkids were her world. In the last few moments before passing her last words were to tell her grandkids that she loved them.

She will always be remembered for her fiery attitude but one of the most honest and caring women you will have ever talked to. She had a big heart and carried a lot of weight on her shoulders but that never stopped her.

We love you Nonna, Mom, Donna. Go give heaven some hell we got it from here. BOOMER SOONER BABY. RIP!

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be shared online at
