Iris June (Auntie June) Winget-Brown went to join her brothers and sisters in Christ on June 29th, 2019 at 7:55pm with her family by her side.

She was born at home to Harold Adolph and Artie Olive (Pond) Winget on December 10, 1935 near Wynona, Oklahoma.

Survivors of her family include son-in-law Anthony & daughter Brandy Robinson of Wann, Oklahoma. Vicki Rittenhouse of Austin, Texas, 5 grandchildren, Richard Robinson of Bartlesville, Melissa Marling of Lawrence, Kansas, Stephanie Press, Justin Press, and Kelsey Ozar of Austin, Texas. She leaves behind 10 great grandchildren; Cody Switzer, Jayson Gore, Ashley Gore, Kaydence Marling, Jake, Justin and Joel Swartz, Gracie, Owen, & Quinn Press and one great great grandchild Rhyan Switzer. Along with several beloved nieces, nephews and precious lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard John Brown as well as one grandson, Paul Randall and one great grandchild, Keyleigh Renee.

Iris was a fighter and overcomer of cancer 4 times during her lifetime. Her Savior was merciful to not only her but her family as she lost her 5th battle to cancer. She was a good and faithful child of God and now is rewarded with the promised eternal life with family and friends that have gone on before her. She touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with and they have been blessed by her example of faithfulness. While her earthly journey is over, her eternal journey has just begun, praise God! We look forward to seeing her again.

Private family services will be held at later date.
