Wilson, Tarah Marie, 24, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in Blanchard, Oklahoma. She was born January 11, 1987 in Oklahoma City to Todd Wilson and Kristi (Ochs) Wilson.
Tarah attended Mustang schools and graduated from Putnam City West in 2006. She enjoyed spending time with friends at Buncombe Creek on Lake Texoma. Tarah also loved watching movies, shopping, facebook, reading and attending concerts. She had a gift for making crafts and would make birthday cards and Christmas gifts for her family. She was especially happy spending time with her grandmothers and cousins. Tarah's most memorable trip was playing with the dolphins at Sea World, arranged by her Buncombe Creek family.
Tarah is survived by her father and stepmother, Todd and Sheila Wilson of Mustang, OK; her mother Kristi Wilson of Oklahoma City; brother, Tyler Wilson; stepbrother, Noah Polesky, stepsisters, Shawnee Dyer and Libby Polesky all of Mustang; grandparents, Carol Morris of Bridgecreek, OK, Barbara Wilson of Oklahoma City, and Jerry Ochs of Yukon, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Brent Wilson.
Memorials may be made in honor of Tarah to the A-T Children's Project at www.communityatcp.org.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St., Norman, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
