Jerry Don Wilson
July 8, 1959 ~ January 8, 2021

Jerry Don Wilson, age 61 of Newcastle, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. Jerry was born July 8, 1959 in Okla. City, the 2nd of 3 children born to Albert and Betty (Epperson) Wilson. He was raised in Newcastle and attended school there, graduating with the Racer class of 1977. After high school, Jerry began working for Custom Stainless where he began is career as a sheet metal fabricator.

He married Mindy Wheeler in 1988 and to this union, son Jeremy and daughter Melissa were born. Jerry began working at York International in 1991, and remained there for many years. Jerry made a career change and worked for the Chickasaw Nation for 14 years, until his retirement. During his time with the Chickasaw Nation he met the love of his life, Pat Foreman. Jerry and Pat had 11 years of fun adventures and special memories. They enjoyed spending their vacation time taking cruises to sun filled beaches and other exotic places. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid football fan who never missed the chance to support his hometown Racers or watch the Sooners and the Green Bay Packers play. Jerry was always a fun loving and comedic person who enjoyed making people laugh. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his brother, James Wilson.

Jerry is survived by: his wife, Pat Foreman of Newcastle ; son, Jeremy Wilson of Tuttle; daughter, Melissa Watts and husband Taylor of Tuttle; His parents, Albert and Betty Wilson of Newcastle; Brother, Steve Wilson and wife Malinda of Newcastle; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 16th 2021 at the Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. The family wishes you to wear masks and follow social distancing practices.
