Chasee Nichole Wilson-Diaz

June 16, 1973 ~ December 6, 2022

Chasee Nichole Wilson-Diaz, 49-year-old Marietta, OK resident, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Marietta with Lawrence Anderson and Shane Norton officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home chapel. Services have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.

Chasee was born June 16, 1973, in Ardmore, OK, the daughter of Tommy Wayne and Sharon Janelle (Chambers) Wilson. She grew up in and attended schools in Marietta where she graduated with the Class of 1992. Chasee worked at the Marietta Cookie Factory for several years before finding a position with Lake Country Nursing Center. She loved working in the nursing field so much that she took some classes and became a CNA. She worked at Lake Country for several more years and then took a position with Elara Caring Home Health. Chasee worked with Elara until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

Chasee enjoyed life and the many different people and opportunities that it presented her. She loved to bask in the sun anywhere she could find a beach. She loved taking trips and visiting with people. However, everyone that knew her knew that she didn't go anywhere without her makeup on and her hair fixed. Chasee took great pride in her appearance. She also had a very caring heart. Chasee had a special four-legged friend named "Lou Lou" that she greatly cared for. She also made every effort to ensure that her children and grandchildren had everything they needed and that they were prepared for the emotions and changes that would come because of her passing.

Chasee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and JoAnn Chambers, Billie Jean Couser, and Dorothy Sampson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Devyn Peery and wife Angelika of Thackerville, Nathan Peery of Ardmore, Bryan Peery of Ardmore, Brittney Metcalf of Marietta, Marissa Peery of Marietta, Olivia Metcalf of Admore, Mariah Chatman and husband Darius of Marietta; father, Tommy Wilson of Marietta; mother, Sharon Sampson and husband Mike of Marietta; grandfather, Hubert Sampson of Marietta; brother, David Sampson and wife Brianna of Marietta; sisters, Bonnie Wilson of Marietta, Jan Garcia and husband Javier of Marietta; and Laura Guerrero and husband Joe of Marietta; grandchildren, Nevaeh Metcalf, Eli Metcalf, Gunner Johnson, Maeven Dowdy, Cozel Dowdy, Camden Metcalf, Keiser Metcalf, Korbin Metcalf, Macenzlee Metcalf, Saige Peery, Aurora Peery, Kinchlie Peery, Addison Peery, Talon Peery, Halen Peery, Teegyn Peery, Brylee Peery, Ralen Peery, Ryder Peery, and Baby Chatman on the way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
