Clarence E. Wilson Sr.
September 23, 1935 ~ March 9, 2022

Clarence E. Wilson Sr. of Longdale, Oklahoma was welcomed into the Lords arms on March 9, 2022. Clarence was born September 23, 1935 in southern Major County to George Vivian and Frances Leona (Humphrey) Wilson, the fifth of seven children.

After finishing high school, Clarence served four years in the Air Force. During his service he married the love of his life, Elza Ann Barnes on May 25, 1957. After his service, he returned to Longdale and he opened Clarence Wilson’s Electric Heating and Air, which he operated until he retired. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and brother. He was a member of the Longdale Community Church. He had many hobbies and was an all around handyman. If something needed fixed you called Clarence. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, tinkering, planting a garden and especially the Colorado mountains. He enjoyed his friends and having afternoon coffee with his buddies. But most of all he loved his Lord and Savior and his precious family.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Elza Ann Wilson, two children; Julie (Wilson) Robison and husband Barry of Pampa, TX., Eddie Wilson and wife Traci of Woodward, OK., six grandchildren, Brooke (Robison) Rauh and husband Justin of Houston, TX., Kari (Robison) White and husband Trevin of Pampa TX., Austin Wilson and wife Erin of Woodward, OK., Devin Wilson of Woodward, OK., Mandy Dow of Longdale, OK., and Clint Dow, six great grandchildren, Tyce and Kaitlyn. Alyssa and Jacob. Leighton and Lynnley. Two great great grandchildren, Xander and Ezekiel and one sister, Clara and husband Delbert Moore S. W. of Fairview.

He is reunited with his beloved daughter Carmie (Wilson) Hooper and husband Ralph, his parents Vivian and Frances, two brothers, Otho and Marion, three sisters, Leona, Eva and Alice, two half-brothers Johnnie and George Vivian Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date for the family per Clarence’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Longdale Community Church. Condolence messages may be made at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
