Thomas Michael Wiley

Thomas Michael Wiley
August 13, 1953 ~ January 15, 2026

Thomas Michael Wiley was born August 13, 1953 to Oscar Glenn and Perthena Isabel (Wheeler) Wiley. He passed away January 15, 2026 in Shawnee at the age of 72.

Since Mike was the youngest, the farm was his playground when the rest were in school. When he was about four he was friends with an orphaned pig that followed him everywhere. Then he had a pet cat that always went fishing with him and tried to steal his fish before he could get them off the hook. As he grew older he also got to help with the chores and by the age of 9 he was driving the tractor and plowing the fields.

Mike graduated from the 8th grade at White Rock School and then attended Wellston High School. He joined the army during his senior year and was sent to Korea after basic training. While he was at Ft. Sill he married Shilea and Nicole was born. Later they moved to Oklahoma City where Glen was born. After a divorce he married Cathy Wiltkins and they had Michael.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Perthena; siblings, Barbara Wallis, Leigh Myrtle Ellis and Jerry Wiley.

Survivors include his children, Todd and Nicki Parker, Glen and Megan Wiley, Mike and Toree Wiley; five grandchildren; sisters, Linda Bruce, and Glenda Banks; along with other family and friends.

Mike spent most of his life working on big trucks and equipment and retired because of his health, He spent much of his time with his dog Oscar and his friend BJ. Cancer may have taken him from us... but it cannot erase our memories.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Lehman Funeral Home.
