Jacqueline Peggy White, age 87, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away October 2, 2013. She was born on December 31, 1925 in Geuda Springs, Kansas to Waldo E. and Agnus M. (Hutchinson) VanWinkle.
Jacqueline had lived in Guthrie the past 2 1/2 years and previously lived in Arkansas City, Kansas. She was married to Charles Ditmore and he preceded her in death in 1964. She married Denver P. White on December 2, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 2010.
She is survived by her daughters, Myrna (Ditmore) Laughlin and husband Dennis of Guthrie and Peggy (Ditmore) Matney of Arkansas City, KS; step-daughter Christine Allen of Arkansas City, KS; sister LaVonna White of Cushing; nephew Kevin Jackson of Cushing; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles W. Ditmore, husband Denver P. White, step-sons Gary White and Travis White.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home.
