Funeral service for David White, 53, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Travis Orr officiating. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Anderson-Burris.
David was born to Albert and Marge (Zimmerman) White on March 25, 1961, in Minnesota, and passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at his home in Enid.
David grew up in Carlton, Minn., graduating from high school in 1979.
He attended the University of Minnesota.
David worked at Farmland from 1984-2002, then Koch from 2002-2014, where he was plant operator.
On March 16, 2007, he married Patricia Handabaka.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Breckinridge.
David enjoyed family time and making people laugh. He had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by wife, Patricia of the home; children, Dayna White and Correy Murchison of Oklahoma City, Nikki White and Rickie Callendar of Enid; parents, Albert and Marge White of Minnesota; five grandchildren, Trystan, Daylin, Tyce, Kynleigh and Tytus; brother, Richard White, and sister, Terri White, both of Minnesota; father and mother-in-law, Guillermo and Elvira Castillo-Handabaka of Peru.
David was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Tillie Zimmerman and Alfred and Edna White.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
