Sandra Kay (Williams) White

November 28, 1956 ~ January 16, 2021

There was no service for Sandra Kay White, 64, of Meno, Oklahoma. She was cremated per her request. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Sandra Kay White was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on November 28, 1956 to William “Bill” and Betty E. (Murrell) Williams and passed from this life on January 16, 2021 at her home in Meno, Oklahoma.

Sandra grew up in Ponca City and graduated high school in 1975. She then attended Northern Oklahoma College graduating in 1977 and then continued her education at Northeastern State University graduating with her Bachelor Degree in Education in 1979. After completion of her education, she started her teaching career in Tahlequah. Sandra loved teaching. She worked at Sunnyside and NOC, working with special needs children for ten years or more. She also worked in many nursing homes giving care to the elderly. Sandra fell in love and married Dennis White in 1985 and to this union was born one girl Monica. As long as Sandra was helping others, she was happy. She was a kind and considerate lady who will be missed by all that knew her.

Sandra is survived by her husband Dennis of the Home, one daughter Monica Newton of Ames, and three grandchildren; Caden Newton, Lilly Newton, and Landon Miller. She is also survived by her siblings: Jon, Jane, Dave, Patricia, Marcia, Nancy, Richard, Shelly, and Kelly.

She is preceded in death by his parents Bill & Betty Williams and son-in-law Kristan Newton.
