Myrtle Walters Wheeler

Mrs. Myrtle Walters Wheeler, 79, a resident of the Edward Abraham Memorial Home, died Friday, March 12, 1976 in Pampa where she had been taken for medical tests.

Mrs Wheeler, born August 3, 1894 was the daughter of Ira and Jennie Herrick Walters.

Funeral services were held at two o'clock Monday afternoon at the United Pentecostal Church in Canadian, with the pastor Rev. Alvert Christian officiating.

Burial was in the Canadian cemetery, Canadian, Hemphill county, Texas under the direction of Stickley-Hill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by four sons, Elmo of Reydon, Oklahoma; Tony of Canadian, Texas; Paul of El Centro, California; and Clyde of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Murray of Pampa, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Nelle Beam of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Lillian Greer of Wichita, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace Richardson of Reydon, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
