Jarred Mark Welch, age 23, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in a motorcycle accident in Shell Knob.

He was born April 29, 1985, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Mark and Lorri (Watts) Welch. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Dillon Welch of Shell Knob; a sister, Tosha Crumb and husband, Bryan of Guthrie, Oklahoma; a niece, Raigan Crumb of Guthrie; Maternal Grandmother, Mary Frates of Crescent; Paternal Grandmother, Colleen Welch of Sebastian, Florida; Great Grandmother, Katherine Watts of Crescent; several aunts and uncles, Kim and Mark Paskwiecz of Sebastian, Florida, Patrick and Susie Welch of Stillwater, Oklah9oma, Steve and Mia Welch of Charlotte, Florida, Scott Welch of Guthrie, Karen Watson of Crescent and Julie Hanks and Ron Simmons of Crescent. he is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Loren Watts; Grandfather, Colonel Fredrick H. Welch; an uncle Lance Edward Welch; great grandfather, Sy Watts and a cousin Willie J. Welch.

Jarred attended school in Crescent through his Junior year. He graduated his Senior Year in Cassville, Missouri and worked with his father doing construction work. Jarred loved meeting people and wakeboarding. Motor cross racing was another favorite activity. He rode for Ronix, a manufacturer of Wakeboards, and won several awards. He was a member of World Wake Boarding Association and a supporter of Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 4, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Brother John Lovett officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home.
