Modena "Dena" [Anderson] Webb

Services for Modena "Dena" Webb, 83, of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville with the Rev. J.L. Williams, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Nocona Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Webb died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at Pecan Tree Manor in Gainesville.

She was born Jan. 27, 1920, in Rush Springs, Okla., to Kirby and Fannie Mosley Anderson.

On Sept. 12, 1944, she married William Marcus "Corky" Webb in Waurika, Okla.

She graduated from Alvord High School in 1937. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville, and the Order of the Eastern Star's Belle Moon Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, William Marcus "Corky" Webb of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Diane Webb of Gladewater; daughter, Kathy Webb of Garland; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Estelle Duncan of Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Sammy Jack Webb and Jerry Thomas Webb; step-brother, K.M. Mosley; and a grandson.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church.

The family will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church State Mission Program.
