LOUIS PERCY WEBB
1907 - 1986
Louis Percy Webb, 78, of Sparks, Oklahoma was born in Thalia, Texas to Bailey A. and Mattie Lee Webb on September 13, 1907.
He passed from this life Monday, April 21, 1986 at the Four Seasons Nursing Home in Oklahoma City following an extended illness.
Mr. Webb was employed as a Wild Life Ranger for Wilbarger Ranch in Ford County, Texas until 1950 when he moved to Elk City.
He was a steam fitter with the oil field and traveled all over the USA.
On October 4, 1954 he and Lorene Harmon were united in marriage in Billinger, Montana.
When he retired in 1967 they made their home in Sparks, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife Lorene of the home; two daughters, Louise Wylie of Abilene, Texas; Janet Miller of Edmond, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Margie Rightmire of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sue Jones of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one son, Coyt Webb of Amarillo, Texas; two step-sons, Bob and Bill Trammell, both of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two sisters, Bernice Webb and Lela Glasgow, both of Midland, Texas; ten grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Cheyenne with Aubrey Cowan officiating.
Interment followed in the Dempsey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
