Lois Marie Watson
April 13, 1920 - December 12, 2009

Lois Marie Watson "Grandma", 89, of Guthrie, OK passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She moved to Guthrie in 2002.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Lena Pound; husband John Watson; and one son James Watson.

Lois is survived by one daughter Lynda Dill of Guthrie; one son Ronald Watson of Kenner, LA; one grandson Ronald Watson of Monroe, LA; three granddaughters Carolyn Bryant of Guthrie, Kathy Ordaz and husband Hector of Guthrie, and Jeanie Murtagh of Hattiesburg, MS; two brothers Ray Pound and wife Jo and Doyle Pound and wife Ruby all of Texas; seven great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2009 at Dunbar Cemetery, near Emory, TX.

Visitation will be Wednesday until 5:00 p.m.

The family would also like to give special thanks to Golden Age Nursing Home, Companion Hospice, and Dr. Michael Elliott for all the loving care.
