In 1970, Kenneth moved from Kansas City,
Kansas to Bartlesville. Kenneth became
employed with Phillips Petroleum Co.
holding the title of accountant in the
Sales & Credit Card Division. He retired
in the early '80s after many years of
loyal service.
He was a member of Eastern Heights
Baptist Church in Bartlesville where he
was very active and he instilled the
same in his children. He enjoyed being a
father and worked hard to provide
entertainment and vacations for his
family. He loved people in general;
square dancing; and playing cards (i.e.,
bridge)
Kenneth was preceded in death by his
parents; his wife, Grace; his wife,
Mary; step-brother, Keith Gentry; and
step-sister, Jerry Gentry.
Survivors include his children, Gene
Waterbury of McAlister, Oklahoma, Bruce
Waterbury and his wife, Becky, of
Bartlesville, and Paul Waterbury and his
wife, Linda, of Dallas, Texas;
stepchildren, Barry Boone of
Bartlesville and Verda Chambers and her
husband, Richard, of Norman, Oklahoma;
sister, Bobby (Gentry) Patterson and her
husband, Dick, of Council Grove;
brother, Kirt "Lucky" Gentry also of
Council Grove; many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; and one great-great
granddaughter.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers,
contributions in Kenneth's honor may be
forwarded to 55+ Activity Center, 1400
S.E. Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, OK
74006.
Memorial services for Mr. Waterbury will
be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at
1:00 PM in Eastern Heights Baptist
Church. Pastor Michael Valindingham will
officiate. Cremation arrangements have
been entrusted to the Arnold Moore &
Neekamp Funeral Home. Online condolences
