Larry Dean Warren

Larry Dean Warren, of Pauls Valley, was born December 21, 1945 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Aubrey and Leora Warren. He went to join his Lord, March 26, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.

Larry served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Viet Nam era. In the past years, he has helped many veterans improve their quality of life.

Larry worked and retired from the Pauls Valley State School after 29 years of service.

Larry was involved in many activities which included OU football, playing his guitar and writing songs. He enjoyed going to the lake and riding his motorcycle. Larry especially loved his family, and they enjoyed watching sports and eating out.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey & Leora Warren; grandparents, Emmette and Willie Belle Warren, Albert Leroy Jones and Susie Elizabeth Driskill Jones.

Surviving family include his two sons, Steven Warren & his friend Jeannie Chapman; Todd Warren & his wife Cricket Warren, two beautiful grandchildren, Matthew & Maggie Warren; one brother, Mickey Warren, all of Pauls Valley; one sister, Sue Craig of Kingfisher; three nephews, Jeff Warren of Houston, Texas, Ben Craig and Daniel Craig of Edmond; one niece, Amy Warren of St. Louis, Missouri; one aunt, Juanita Sutherland of Norman; other relatives & many friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. The family has also requested that everyone wear crimson and cream in honor of Larry. Boomer Sooner. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
