Cheryl “Darlene” Warford, 68 of Stilwell Oklahoma, left this world to be with God on Friday March 28, 2014. She was born March 21, 1946 in Walters, Oklahoma to Marshall and Elsie (Fletcher) Spence.

She met the love of her life, Jack Warford, at age fourteen. They married at ages sixteen and nineteen on May 22nd, 1962. During her life she was blessed with mothers Ola McKinney and Georgia Spence.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Elsie, son Darrell, and grandson Jack.

She is survived by Ola McKinney and Georgia Spence, husband Jack, siblings Ben & Julie Allgood, Lloyd Allgood, Kathy Treat, Eddie & Sharon Spence, Randy & Penny Spence, Dena Spence, children Jesse & Susan Warford, Terry & Suzie Warford, Paul & Crystal Warford, and Cheryl & Steven Baird, grandchildren Justen Taylor, Tasha & Nick Catron, Brice & Dawn Taylor, Jaymi & Josh Singleterry, Amber Warford, TeriSue Warford, Samantha Asbill, Kaylena Warford, Rodney Asbill Jr., Miranda & Alex Hendon, Dakota Stapleton, Makayla Baird, Kylie Warford, Alaina Warford, and Jason Warford, and great-grandchildren Rosie Catron, Braden Taylor, Hayden Chuculate, Hunter Catron, Eli Warford, Wyatt Catron, Connor Singleterry, Sarai Taylor, and Isabelle Hendon.

Darlene worked at Dairy Queen with her parents where she met Jack. She left high school to marry Jack, then finished school and attended college. She also worked at Walmart, Circle S, and the Senior Citizens Center. After retirement, Darlene enjoyed life as a home-maker. She was greatly influenced in her life by God. Darlene was a member of the Baron Church of Christ. At age thirteen, Darlene was baptized by brother J.W. Beddingfield. She enjoyed gardening, reading, playing mahjong, playing on Facebook, and spending a lot of time with her grandchildren.
Her great spirit was infectious, and her smile dazzled all. Darlene will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and everyone who was touched by her.

Memorial services held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Baron Church of Christ.
