GARY WALLACE

Aline, OK. -- Funeral service for Gary L. Wallace, 66, was Monday at Followers of Christ Church in Ringwood, OK. with Brothers Jim Wallace and Clayton Wallace officiating. Burial was in Square Cedar Cemetery directed by Lanman Funeral Home. He died Oct. 7, 2005, at home.

He was born July 7, 1939, in Aline, OK. to Charles and Bessie Reese Wallace. He grew up in Aline and lived in the area his entire life. He was a minister of Followers of Christ Church. As a retired carpenter, he continued to serve his church. He married Karen K. Gleason Aug. 15, 1968, in Aline, OK. Together they raised 16 children.

He is survived by his wife of the home; nine sons, Samuel of Wellston, OK., Bradley, Curtis, Chad, David and Mark of Aline, OK., Blake of Meno, OK., Adam of Fairview, OK., and Rowland of Stillwater, OK.; seven daughters, Pamela Chapman of Fort Hood, TX., Ranetta Cunningham of Enid, OK., Kimberly Fulford of Delhi, LA., Zandria Wallace of Oklahoma City, OK., Charla Wallace, Monica Wallace, and Anna-Marie Wallace of Aline, OK.; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Jim and David, and a sister, Charlene Riggs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray costs of the service.
