Donald Wayne Walker
December 4, 1935 ~ April 6, 2021

Celebration of Life Service for Donald Wayne Walker, age 85, of Enid, will be Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Brad Mendenhall officiating. Visitation for family and friends is Friday, April 9, 2021, from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation and service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Donald Wayne Walker was born December 4, 1935, in Houston, Texas, and entered into Heaven on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, at his home in Enid.

During his young adult years, Donald loved racing boats on Salt Plains Lake and Lake Overholser where he earned much recognition and won many trophies. He also was a very proficient trap shooter and won many awards as well.

Donald married Wanda Wilson on September 12, 1963, in Enid, and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Don always had a passion for those who were suffering. He was a volunteer Chaplain for many years for both St. Mary's Hospital and Integris Bass Hospital. He was active in church activities, and enjoyed sharing the Love and power of God with all whom he encountered.

Donald is survived by his wife, Wanda; Sister, Verna Joy Cummings of Birmingham, Alabama; sister Jerry Bellar of Enid, OK; and brother Ronnie Walker of Enid, OK. Children, Pam and Mike Tomberlin of Florence, Alabama; Mike and Denita Day of Enid, OK; Brent and Jenny Walker of St. Petersburg, FL; Penny and Terry Lewis of Claremore, OK; Donnie and Charlene Walker of Tulsa, OK; Daron and Vicky Walker of Rockwall, TX; and Tamy and Brad Mendenhall of Enid, OK. Plus 30 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by parents, V. E. and Myrtle Walker; 2 Brothers, Ken and Larry Walker, and Sister, Connie Harris; Grandson, Brandon Gammon; and Great-Granddaughter, Kacyn Brooksher.
