Virgie Lee (Dye) Waldon Services: Fri., Aug. 12, 2:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Friday, August 12, 2005 at 2:00 pm at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin. Pastor Mike Criswell will officiate the service and interment will follow. Lee (Dye) Waldon was born May 15, 1921 in Milo, Oklahoma, the youngest of ten children.

She married the love of her life, Joe Dean Waldon in 1939, they traveled to California in the early 1940s settling in Arvin. Virgie was grateful for their 35 years together before his passing in 1974.

Virgie had strong convictions founded in the Lord that she shared with her children at an early age.

She is survived by her children, son, Roger Waldon and wife, Patricia of Boise Idaho; daughters, Lavita Gail and husband, Mike Criswell of Eugene, Oregon, and Nancy Campbell of Bakersfield. She leaves behind her much loved grandchildren; Aaron, Joe, Kristen, Joseph, Wendy, Crystal, and Rebecca; great-grand-children, Hope, Micah, Elijah, Jeffrey, Emma, Cadence, and Guyver; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
