Martha (Warkentin) Voth
July 11, 1921 ~ May 12, 2013

ENID, Okla. - Memorial service for Martha Voth, 91, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Enid Mennonite Brethren Church. Service is under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Martha was born July 11, 1921, in Joes, Colo., to Abraham and Katie Warkentin and died May 12, 2013, in Enid.

In 1924, her parents moved their seven children to Enid, Okla.

Martha completed eight years of public education, customary for girls of that time period.

On June 29, 1941, Martha married Menno Voth of Kremlin, Okla. She devoted her life to trusting God and being a loving wife and homemaker as they raised two children.

Martha worked at Bea's Bakery, decorating cakes, and operated a dairy farm Northeast of Enid.

She faithfully served Jesus in many ministries in the Mennonite Brethren Church.

Menno passed away Dec. 7, 1976. Shortly after, Martha moved to Enid and continued living and trusting Jesus Christ for her daily direction. With the support of family and friends, she once again engaged in serving others. Martha remained active at church, traveled with friends, and become an excellent artist working with oils and watercolors. She worked 10 years in the Garfield County Clerk's office. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, home and flower gardens.

In 2005, she moved into the Golden Oaks community, enjoying the social activities and chapel services, until God called her to her heavenly home.

Martha was the youngest and last of her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Koehn.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Eugene and Karen Voth; son-in-law, Richard Koehn; four grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Lynette and Mike; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made to Enid Mennonite Brethren Church.
