Fay Bemadine (Nabors) Von Lossow

April 2, 1924 ~ January 23, 2007

Fay Bemadine Nabors was born April 2,1924, to Ethel Mae High and Walter Victor Nabors in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She died January 23, 2007, in Kirkland, Washington.

She attended Friend Elementary and graduated from Friend High School in Amber, Ok. In 1944 she enlisted in the U.S. Navel Service and got an honorable discharge in 1945 as a Yeoman Third Class. While in the navy she attended Hunter College in New York.

After the navy, she moved to Seattle and worked at the Veteran's Administration. There she met Ernest Ronde Von Lossow and they married February 22,1959. Rod had MS and Fay became his personal caregiver until his death on June 2,1990.

Fay was devoted to her family; she was known for her kindness generosity and hard work. She was known for her giving ways and was always there for everyone.

She was an enthusiastic and accomplished hostess; always exuding charm and class. Her impressive home was always full of love and laughter, and she welcomed family and friends throughout the year.

Fay loved fashion and had an eye for style all her own. She had a mischievous spirit and was unconventional and outspoken. She will be remembered as a gracious, self-sacrificing woman who had a love of life. We will miss our beautiful little sister, friend and aunt.

Fay was preceded in death by sisters Pauline Walker of Chickasha, OK, Dorothy Lee of Ada, OK, Jean Madison of Chickasha, OK, Bobbie Anderson of San Francisco, CA, and Patricia Morren of Norman, OK, and brother John Nabors of Chickasha, OK.

She is survived by sisters Nan Reynolds of Seattle, WA and Elizabeth Madison of Houston, TX, and brother Bill Nabors of Chickasha, OK, and many nephews and nieces.
