Jane (Pratt) Vogt

Jane (Pratt) Vogt
June 30, 1927 ~ March 23, 2021

Jane Vogt passed away March 23, 2021, at the age of 93. She was born and raised in the Enid area where she graduated from Enid High School and Phillips University.

Jane was a farmer who raised 2 daughters on her own. She was also an active member of her church, a volunteer at Bass Baptist Hospital (Integris) and an early volunteer in the hospice program. She was a doer and a giver with a huge heart.

She moved to Edmond in 1998 to be near her daughters. Here, she became a member of SHCC and was active in several groups there. She began volunteer work with Valir Hospice, which she continued until shortly before her death even as she was a patient!

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.F. and Letha Pratt; and her daughter Barbara. she is survived by her loving daughter, Bette Goodnight of Edmond.

I would like to thank Valir for their excellent and compassionate care, especially DJ, Sharece, Robin and Miles. To know my mom was to love her!
