Virginia Mae (Hopkins) Vinyard

November 3, 1935 ~ March 14, 2009

Virginia Mae Vinyard, 73, of Choctaw, Oklahoma died Saturday, March 14th surrounded by loved ones. She was born Nov. 3, 1935 to Luther and Lucille Hopkins in Camargo, OK.

She retired from TAFB civilian service in 1990 after 22 1/2 years of employment. Her hobbies included taking her grandchildren fishing, quilting, cooking, and crafts.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Vinyard, and 2 sons Philip and Terry Vinyard.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Pamela Tyra and husband Rick, brother Dewey Hopkins and wife Jane, sister Evelyn Deibert and husband Jim, grand-children Rick Tyra II and wife Sonya, Rodney Tyra and wife Melissa, Justin, Derek, and their mother Deborah Vinyard, Cody and Jesse Vinyard and their mother Peggy Routh and husband David, and 3 great grandchildren Macy, Cole, and Tanner Tyra.
