Marilyn (Olsen) Vieth

June 21, 1920 ~ September 11, 2008

A Memorial service for Marilyn Olsen Vieth, 88, of Kingfisher, will be 2 PM Monday, September 15, 2008, at Federated Church, Kingfisher. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Home, Kingfisher.

She was born June 21, 1920, in Wichita, Kansas, to Maxwell and Lillian McClatchey Olsen and died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at her home.

She graduated from Classen high school. She attended Oklahoma A & M earning a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics. She married Emmanuel Vieth August 20, 1940. They made their home in Kingfisher. He died in 1992.

Surviving are her children, Nancy and Warren; four grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Emmanuel, she was preceded in death by one son.
