William Earl Victory

Apr. 24, 1927 - Oct. 20, 2006

William Earl Victory was born to Claris and Inez Victory on April 24, 1927 in Depew, Oklahoma.

He resided in California for over 60 years and was a long time resident of Wasco, CA before retiring to Camp Nelson, CA.

He passed away October 20, 2006, in Bakersfield, California.

William was a master oil field welder and owned Vic Weld. He worked many years in the oil fields of Kern County, mostly in the Taft area. He was previously employed by Oilfield Construction Company.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony and parents, Claris and Inez Victory.

William was active in a number of organizations: Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rite, Clampers and Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Victory; son, Russel Earl Victory (Linda); daughters, Loretta Laughlin, Billie J. Billings (Jay) and Terri Randel; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Zora Urban; sisters, Faye Lack, Betty Davis and Clarabelle Colffelt.

Per William's wishes there will be no services. You may join family and friends for a celebration of his life at the Eagles Lodge, 97 E. Henderson Ave., in Porterville, CA, Saturday, October 28, 2006, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to your favorite charity, the Shriner's Hospital or Camp Nelson Volunteer Fire Department.
