Rosalee F (Johnson) Vessels

Rosalee F. Vessels (Johnson) age 76 of Ponca City passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home in Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Rose was born December 9, 1946 the daughter of Clay Johnson and Perl (McGee) Johnson. She grew up in Mutual, Oklahoma. She was married to Jack Vessels on October 7, 1967 in Woodward, OK.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Jack, her children Sheila Vessels Oakley and husband Darren, of Arkansas City, KS, son Shawn Vessels of Sand Springs, OK, two granddaughters Courtney Sobba and husband Andrew of Eudora, KS, Kayla Vessels of Lanexa, three grandsons, Devon Oakley and wife Taryn of Arkansas City, KS, Jared Oakley of Arkansas City, KS, and Kaleb Oakley of Arkansas City, KS., two great granddaughters and three great grandsons, sister Roberta Gregory and husband Robert of Enid, OK.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, and her four older brothers, Dale Johnson, Carroll Johnson, Carl Johnson, and Allen Johnson.

Memorial donations can made in Rose's name to North Central Oklahoma Hospice, 445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601,

At Rose's request there will be no services.
