Mildred Lucinda Venator

September 12, 1914 ~ October 31, 2009

Mildred Lucinda Venator, 95 of Choctaw passed away on October 31 at Midwest City Regional Hospital. Mildred was born September 12, 1914 in Collinsville, Oklahoma and graduated from Ponca City High School.

Mildred, 'Mickey' to those who knew her, and husband Rex, married on April 1, 1935 and came to the Oklahoma City area. Following World War II, she and Rex resided at 201 E. Rickenbacker in Midwest City and were some of the first residents in the community.

Mildred was school secretary for 17 years at Eastside Elementary School in Midwest City. In 1972 she and Rex moved to their current residence in Choctaw and have been active members of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Rex, son Mike of Cumming, GA, and daughter Cynthia of Ada. There are 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
