Delia (Chaparro) Vega
March 10, 1945 ~ December 27, 2020

Services for Delia Chaparro de Vega will be 11:00 AM Saturday January 2, 2021 at the Hennessey High School auditorium under the direction of Cordry-Gritz funeral home.

Delia was born March 10, 1945 to David Chaparro and Maria Valenzuela in La Nortena, Chihuahua Mexico and died Sunday December 27, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Delia came to the United States in April 1991. She was a member of IBEK Church of Kingfisher. Not only did she raise her ten children but also a grandson whom she enjoyed helping with his school and sporting events. She was involved helping in the various nursing homes in Kingfisher with her church family.

Delia is survived by her husband Francisco Vega of the home; ten children Aida and husband Obed Benitez of Hennessey, Irma and husband Florencio Fontes of Thorton, CO, Elizabeth Vega of Hennessey, Blanca and Husband Jorge Benitez of Hennessey, Francisco Vega Jr. of Chihuahua, Mexico, Teresa and husband Cleotilde Monge of Brighton, CO, Rito Vega, Angelica Vega, of Denver, CO, Luis and wife Mayra Vega of Dover, OK, Laura and Antonio Martinez of Lochbuie, CO, her beloved grandchild whom she raised with much love Juan Dominguez of the home, 35 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 month old daughter Angeles Vega.
