Dorothy Viola VanSyckle
December 21, 1951 ~ April 11, 2017

Dorothy Viola VanSyckle the daughter of Charles Yax and Barbara Martin, was born December 21, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan and departed this life on April 11, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Dorothy loved life and adored her family. She was strong and a fighter. Dorothy was proud to serve her country for over 20 years as an Army wife. She was the best seamstress in the world and enjoyed sewing before she got ill. She loved animals and had several different animals around the farm. She adored her birds and dogs. Dorothy's family had her heart and she loved each and every one of them with sincere passion. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Ricky VanSyckle of the home; her children Rose Fromme and husband Mark, Ricky VanSyckle Jr. and Roy Allen VanSyckle all of Stilwell; her brothers Donald Yax and wife Sandy of Cass City, MI and Bill Cendrowski of Chandler, OK; her sister Joyce Vallerie and husband Harry of Bay City, MI; her grandchildren Rebekah Hudson and husband James and Brittney Fromme all of Stilwell; and her great grandchildren Marissa and Amethyst. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. George Roberts officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
