Betty Marie VanRees

May 21, 1930 ~ December 9, 2003

At the request of the family no funeral services will be held and interment will be private. A memorial visitation will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., on Friday, December 12, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., for Betty Marie VanRees, 73, who passed away December 9, 2003.

Mrs. VanRees was born on May 21, 1930, in Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 47 years. She had worked for B.A.R.C. for 26 years as a retail clerk in their thrift store.

Mrs. VanRees is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Dorie Bailey, Thomas and Susan Bailey, James and Debra Bailey and Frank and Paula Jordan; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Johnny Wright; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Russell Williams and wife, Ruth and Bob Williams Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors.
