Mary Katherine (Duck) Vann
March 6, 1932 ~ March 24, 2020

Mary Katherine (Duck) Vann, 88, of Stilwell, Oklahoma went to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family on March 24th, 2020 in Stilwell. She was born to Mitchell Duck and Mary Jane (Bolin) Livers in Adair County, Oklahoma on March 6th, 1932.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Arch Vann; one brother, Foreman Still; one great grandson, Hunter Burrows; and one great-great grandson, Masen Coffman.

Mary was a strong woman of faith and loved her Lord deeply. She was a member of Rock Fence Baptist Church and always attended when her health allowed. She loved to sew and to plant flowers in her flower gardens. She was a very social person who never met a stranger. Mary stayed active and enjoyed exercising. She often read and often attended yard sales. Her favorite fast food restaurant was Long John’s Silver. She loved her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She considers her grandson, Marcus Soap as her own child.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Frances Polecat and husband George of Stilwell, Donald Vann of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Freda Vann of Stilwell, Betsy Springwater and husband Levi of Stilwell, Jessie Vann of the home, Rogina Sanders of Stilwell, Jeffery Vann and wife Ashley of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Mitchell Vann and wife Heather of Stilwell, Timothy Vann of the home and Kathy Hudson and husband Tim of Stilwell; 32 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 29 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Bowers and husband Alan of Tahlequah and Emma Jean Cochran of Stilwell; one brother, Thomas Still and wife Jessie of Stilwell; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive her.
