Ellis W. Upton

Ellis W. Upton
March 27, 1947 ~ January 9, 2021

Ellis W. Upton of Tishomingo, OK passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 73. Ellis was born on March 27, 1947 in Magnolia, MS to Arnel and Clementine (Vanbuskirk) Upton.

Ellis attended school in Magnolia and later graduated from Sherman High School. He married CJ Autrey in June of 1968 then proudly served his Country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. He was Honorably Discharged in 1973. He worked for Oscar Meyer and he enjoyed playing chess and pool. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ellis was preceded in death by his parents and brother Sam.

Ellis is survived by his sister Connie Luce; children Jon Upton and wife Geneva Sp[encer, James Upton and wife Carla and Vickie White and husband James Jr. and grandchildren Sam Upton and Steven White.
