His activities included being a member of the Optimist Club in Denver, working with high school students through Junior Achievement in Okla. City, and the Petroleum Club in Texas. He also enjoyed continuing square dancing, playing bridge and 42.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Fran Tysor, his parents, Velda and Jim Tysor, and his brother Chan Tysor.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Nowlin (Larry), sons Art Tysor (Jan) and Chuck Tysor (Janice); grandchildren Kevin Nowlin (Venessa), Shawn Nowlin (Martha), Jen Shipman, Chris Tysor (Shauna), and Ashley Tysor.
