Laura Marie (Beck) Twellman
February 22, 1933 ~ April 11, 2018

Laura Twellman, 85 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Branson, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Barros officiating. Another Memorial service will be held at the North Roads Community Church in Moscow Mills, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Laura Marie (Beck) Twellman was born on February 22, 1933 in Olney, Missouri to Clarence Henry and Stella Mae (Zumwalt) Beck. She grew up in Lincoln County, Missouri and attended school there. 

She was united in marriage to John Henry Twellman on December 27, 1948 in Troy, Missouri. They made their first home in Silex, Missouri, where they farmed and ranched. 

Laura was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed all forms of crafts, fishing, all of nature, especially wild flowers and bird watching. Laura loved spending time with her family and her church family. 

She is survived by two daughters, Diana Cross and husband Danny of Woodward, Robin Foster and husband Frank of Fulton, Missouri; two sons: Steve Twellman and wife Holly of Silex, Missouri, Bruce Twellman and wife Mary of Troy, Missouri; grandchildren, Faith Roach and husband Mike, Danny Cross and wife Christina, Chad Twellman and wife Jessica, Adam Twellman and wife Amanda, Emily Quick and husband Ben, Lane Twellman, Anna Schuldt and husband Justin, Linda Foster, James Foster; 24 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Clarence Beck, Jr., three sisters, Elsie Mae, Marjore, Shirley, two sisters-in-law, Mary Ruth and Freda.
