Louise (Campbell) Trout
November 29, 1923 ~ December 25, 2020

 Louise Campbell Trout, 97, longtime resident of Ponca City, left this life on December 25, 2020. A private family only graveside ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2020. Face masks are required. The ceremony will be live-streamed and can be accessed by visiting www.troutfuneralhome.com starting at 9:45 AM, and selecting the live stream link in the upper right hand of the homepage.

Louise was born on November 29, 1923, in Cushing, OK, to Verdell and Eula Leola (Rains) Campbell. Louise became a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Ponca City in 1931 and sang for many years as both a soloist and member of the choir. Additionally, she was a USO performer at the Darr School during World War II. Louise graduated from PoHi in 1941, and attended Oklahoma A&M. She married John David (Jack) Trout on November 30, 1946, in Ponca City at the First Baptist Church. Louise sang for many funerals at E.M. Trout and Sons Funeral Home, the family business.

She is survived by: her children, Edwina Trout and her husband, Robert Evans, of Oklahoma City, Julie Trout Lombardi, of Owasso, OK, Gloria Preston and her husband, Sam, of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Caroline Philley and her husband, David, of Houston, TX, Brennan Lombardi of Tahlequah, OK and Megan Lombardi, of Fayetteville, AR; and great-grandson, James Campbell Philley.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 218 S 6th St, Ponca City, OK 74601.
