Luanna Joy (Clemons) Triplett

Luanna "Joy" Triplett, age 80 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on June 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Joy was born on September 9, 1939 in Yale, Oklahoma to Nolon L. "Pap" and Jessie E. (Sapp) Clemons.

Joy moved to Guthrie from Yale and had been living in Guthrie for the last 57 years. She was a self-employed bookkeeper for 40 years. Joy was married to Lloyd Franklin Triplett for 42 years until his passing in 2014.

Survivors include son Richard Allen and his wife Darlene of Guthrie, son Larry Allen of Guthrie, daughter Janet Kirsch and her husband Dennis of Guthrie, son Glen Lindgren, daughter Rejeana Lindgren of Guthrie, daughter Kimberlin Smith of Guthrie, daughter Marcia Vaughn and her husband Mark of Blackwell, son Glenn Triplett and his wife Mystia of Guthrie, and son Jimmy Dale Triplett and his wife Monita of Blanchard. Joy is also survived by numerous siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd F. Triplett, parents Nolon and Jessie Clemons, son Lloyd D. Triplett, son Tyron Triplett, son Billy Joe Triplett, and numerous siblings.

A private family memorial service will be held with Brother Bob Walker officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
