Constance Helene “Connie” (Pierce) Trent
April 26, 1950 ~ November 6, 2023

Constance “Connie” Helene Trent of Mead, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023, at the age of 73. Born on April 26, 1950, in Madera, California, she lived a life full of creativity, spirit, and love.

Connie was the beloved wife of Wayne Trent and the cherished mother of three daughters, Tabatha Smith and husband Casey of Mead, Oklahoma; Tiffany Blakley and husband Jim of Durant, Oklahoma; and Tessa Trent of Mead, Oklahoma. She was a doting grandmother to Karissa Ward and husband Kayle, Veruca Svendsen, Kylie Trent, Rayne Paris, Katie Trent, and Trent Sexton. Her joy was further multiplied by her great-grandchildren Marlee Blakley, Oliver Rice, Averie Ward, and Nova Venegas. She was the daughter of Juanita Erdmann and the late Earnest Pierce, and the stepdaughter of the late James "Spike" Erdmann. Connie is also survived by her sisters, Donna Evans, and Claudette Sanford, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert "Sonny" Pierce.

She was a proud graduate of nursing school, which paved the way for her rewarding career as a nurse. Her dedication to her profession was evident in the compassionate care she gave to her patients. Outside of her professional life, Connie was a woman of many talents and interests. She was a creative artist. She had a love for the outdoors and was expressed through her enjoyment of camping and reflected in her gardening skills. She also took great pride in her chickens and horses. Connie was also an exceptional cook and baker, known for her delicious recipes that brought family and friends together. Connie was fondly known as "The Party Thrower" for her knack for organizing memorable gatherings. She had a unique ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel at home. Her grandbabies were the apple of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Connie will be remembered and celebrated for her vibrant spirit, loving heart, and creative mind. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 6:00 p.m., at Mead Baptist Church with Brother Kerry Groce officiating.
