Mary Jane Treadway

February 4, 1952 ~ July 13, 2017

Mary Jane Treadway, 65, passed away at her home with family at her side on Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born February 4, 1952 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Fred Howard and Albertine Edith (Bruhwiller) Chichester. She married Edward Treadway a few months after meeting, and the two have enjoyed each other's company for the last 20 years.

She attended both Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Oklahoma State University and studied secretarial work. She helped Ed with Treadway Painting Company, Inc. with all of the paperwork and even painting from time to time. Mary Jane enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and painting. She loved the one time every year that her childhood girlfriends would get together for lots of laughter and fun. She was a devoted wife, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by parents, Fred Howard and Albertine Edith (Bruhwiller) Chichester.

Survivors include Edward Treadway of their home; sister, Jill Anne Logue and husband, Robert of Richardson, TX; stepson, Eric Edward Treadway and wife, Emily of Georgetown, TX; niece, Robyn Bridges; nephew, Nathan Logue; grand-niece and nephew, Kameron Kroell and Heather Kroell; 4 step-grandchildren; loyal companion, Boo Kitty; and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
