Patricia "Patty" (Hendrickson) Tracy

Patricia "Patty" (Hendrickson) Tracy
December 13, 1953 ~ December 26, 2021

Patricia "Patty" Tracy was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. The good Lord called her home at the age of 68 on December 26, 2021, after a battle with an extended illness.

She was born to Edwin and Marlyne Hendrickson on December 13, 1953, in Alva, Oklahoma. Patty attended high school in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, a starter on the basketball team, and was well known for her antics on the pep squad.

Shortly after graduating high school, Patricia married and went on to begin her family by giving birth to two sons. She and her family relocated to northeastern Colorado, where she lived until her premature passing. Thanks to her intellect, strong work ethic, and Hendrickson-style determination, Patty succeeded in many endeavors. After her mother's passing, she stepped up to continue the family legacy by becoming the general partner of Hendrickson Family Farms.

Spending most of her life in rural Colorado, it was no surprise that Patty had a particular fondness for all things natural. Between her work running the family farm and attending her gardens, she loved everything that grew. Patty enjoyed crafts of all kinds, including quilting, crocheting, knitting, preserving food, and everything craft-related. In addition, she made a positive impact on the world by donating nearly 8 gallons of blood.

Patty is survived by her husband Rodney, sons Myron and Eldon, sisters Pamela Walters and Bobbi Stansbury; grandsons Christopher, Alexander, Bradley, Dillon; granddaughter, Emma, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marlyne Hendrickson, along with her brother Lonnie.

Patricia was a devout Christian woman who enjoyed reading Joyce Meyer's books and watching Christian TV. To quote Joyce Meyer, "Every day is a gift from God. Learn to focus on the Giver and enjoy the gift!" Every day that God gave us with her was indeed a gift.
