Santos Galdino Calleros Torres, 56, of Marietta, OK, was born on November 1, 1967, in Durango, DGO, Mexico, to Galdino Calleros Perez and Maria Cleofas Torres Calleros. He passed away from this life on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Santos has been a Love County resident for approximately six years. He recently worked as a forklift operator at Noble Foundation in Ardmore, OK. Santos enjoyed being outside picking up pecans. He had a passion for all different kinds of music and was often found relaxing in his bedroom listening to music. Santos married the former Jovita Villarreal Aguallo in Durango on June 11, 1986. Santos' favorite thing to do was to spend quality time with his wife, whether it was in person or talking on the phone when they were apart.
Santos was preceded in death by his mother. Left to cherish Santos' memory are his wife, Jovita of the home; sons, Santos Calleros, Jr. and wife Savannah, Eduardo Calleros and wife Lety, and Jose Calleros, all of Marietta; father, Galdino Calleros of Gainesville, TX; brothers, Ivan Calleros and wife Rosa, David Calleros, and Jesus Calleros and wife Rosie, all of Gainesville; sisters, Gloria Mesta and husband Jose and Cata Calleros, all of Dallas, TX, and Bertha Calleros and Aida Calleros both of Gainesville; nine grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at the New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Casket bearers will be Abraham Santos Calleros, Jr., Jose Calleros, Eduardo Calleros, Jessie Calleros, David Calleros, and Ivan Calleros.
