Mario Quiroz Torres

Mario Torres was born October 16, 1959 in Queretaro, Mexico, Juna Quiroz Sausedo and Jesus Torres Garcia. He passed away December 29, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 2 months and 13 days.

Mario grew up in Mexico and was served in the Mexican armed forces for 9 years. At the age of 30 he came to the United States to explore new possibilities in employment. Mario found work at a greyhound farm north of Elk City and continued there until he began working for Superior Fabrication Incorporated until 2005. He later worked at the Swift plant in Guymon, Oklahoma until 2012 when ill health forced his retirement. Mario enjoyed fishing, running and exercising.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Nancy Torres Rodriges and Yvon Torres Rodriges, Irapuato Gunajuato, Mexico; 5 grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters and a host of relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later time.
