July 20, 2006 ~ March 25, 2024

Mychal Torres, 17 year old Mooreland High School student, passed away, Monday, March 25, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2024 in the Mooreland High School Gymnasium. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Mychal Eugene Torres was born on July 20, 2006 in Wichita, Kansas to Misty June Worthey. Mychal grew up in Mooreland and was currently in the 11th grade. He loved hanging out with his friends, family, being with people, attending school ball games, and playing his Xbox. He was really proud of the fact that he was able to buy his own truck. Mychal was involved in the Baptist Youth Group.

He is survived by his mother, Misty Worthey of the home; brothers: Andrew Torres, AlexZander Torres, Jaxon Harvey; sisters: Nora Harvey, Addisen Harvey; grandparents: Debbie and Pedro Zarate of Nashville, Tennessee, Tim and Nancy Arington of Herford, Texas, Eddie and Kathy Torres of Dodge City, Kansas; Aunts: Jophina Worthey, Tonika Sumpter, Sam Worthey, Sonia Garcia, Beronica Torres; his best friends, Dycen Hensley, Bryson Clark and 100's more; the oldest of 19 cousins; and many more relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister MarXaylon Worthey, cousin A'Xaylon Worthey, great-grandparents: Wilma and Norman Worthey and Zelma Arington.

My son was a human beyond measure!! Mychal had to be experienced not someone a second hand story can EVER come close to portray his character, his heart, his drive, his loyalty, his LOVE! Pictures don't even show all the light in his BEAUTIFUL face!

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family or the Mooreland Junior Class with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
