Dorothy Marnell "Nell" (Bone)Tomerlin

June 28, 1943 ~ October 19, 2019

Dorothy Marnell “Nell” Tomerlin of Mead, OK passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Durant at the age of 76. Nell was born on June 28, 1943 to Marvin and Agnes Dorothy (Lunsford) Bone.

Nell married Ray Tomerlin on February 22, 1972 in Weatherford, TX. They moved to Bryan County in 1980. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She was a member of Mead Baptist Church and she enjoyed fishing and hunting. Nell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents and son, Randy Lynn Floyd in 1998.

Nell is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47 plus years, Ray Tomerlin of the home; daughter, Angela Floyd Johnson; grandmother of Michelle Greenlee Elliot, Melisa Greenlee, Anthony Floyd, Zachariah Johnson and Joshua Johnson; great grandmother of 13 and great great grandmother of 1 and numerous extended family and freiends.

A celebration of Nell’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mead Baptist Church. Pastor Kerry Groce will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
