Karin Lee Togert, 72, of Guthrie, OK, passed away peacefully in the company of her family on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Karin was born on December 14, 1946 in Chandler, OK to William and Norma (Williams) Ward. She was a 1965 graduate of Chandler High School and went straight to work before retiring at the age of 62.

Karin is preceded in death by both parents; her brother, Billy Ray Ward and her brother, David Ward.

She is survived by her daughter, Kari Huffman and husband, Nathan of Oklahoma City; grandson, Ryan Grider and wife, Desiree of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, Ashlee Grider, of Glenpool, OK; granddaughter, Jayden Grider of Oklahoma City; and one great-grandson, Rylan Grider of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sonja Ward of Okemah, OK and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association, Southwest Affiliate, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
