Hazel W. Tobey

March 9, 1924 ~ February 19, 2004

A memorial service for Hazel will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park in Newport Beach, CA, on Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at 12:00 p.m.

Hazel was born and raised in Wilburton, OK. After graduating from high school in 1941, she came to California where she resided primarily in the L.A. and Orange Counties. Last year she moved to Bakersfield to be near family.

She is survived by her brother Owen Powell and wife Betty of Sun City, CA; sister Judy Boley of Clearwater, FL; sister Thelma White and husband H. L. of Muskogee, OK; sister Yvonne Thayer and husband Roy of Bakersfield and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at CBCC for taking care of our sister, also our thanks and gratitude to the Optimal Hospice Care Staff. If anyone wishes to make a donation in her memory, please send them to Optimal Hospice, 4800 Stockdale Hwy., Bakersfield, CA.
