Joel Timmons

Joel Timmons
October 03, 1951 ~ July 03, 2020

Joel Timmons was born October 3, 1951 in Bristow Oklahoma to Leo Timmons Sr and Agnes Austin.

Joel was an avid fisherman and rodeo enthusiast. In his spare time, he rode horses and was an amateur cowboy. One of his favorite past times was to tell stories and make people laugh. He was often the life of the party and would be the last person on the dance floor.

Joel confessed Christ at an early age. Time and again he would talk about the goodness of the Lord. He was a loving man and many people would say that his heart was bigger than his smile.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; Yvonne Cooper-Tunley, one brother; G. Dewayne Timmons, two sons; Joel L Timmons, DeMarco Clark, one daughter; Quanessa Timmons.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters; Brenda Austin, Janice Timmons-Hines, Gayle Murphy, Andrea Timmons, Regina Timmons two brothers; Marshall Timmons, Leo Timmons Jr, two sons; Malcolm Timmons, Michael Timmons, two daughters; Colleen Timmons, Lakeitha Timmons; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joel departed this life July 3rd, 2020. He will be dearly missed.
