James Tierney

October 26, 1910 ~ December 14, 1996

Private family services for James Tierney of Oklahoma City were held under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.

James was born October 26, 1910 in St. Louis and passed away Saturday December 14, 1996 at the age of 86.

He and Jeanne celebrated their 50th anniversary on Thanksgiving 1996.

He was preceded in death by his parents James J. and Mary Burk Tierney; one sister, Helen Taylor , and a grandson, Benjamin Tierney.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; five children Kathy Petersone of Portland OR., Jim Tierney, of Veronia, OR., Bill Tierney of Eagan, MN., Bob Tierney of Independence KS., Tom Tierney of O'Fallon, MO.; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
