Gary Wayne Tibbs

Gary Wayne Tibbs
July 13, 1947 ~ February 4, 2025

Gary Wayne Tibbs was born July 13, 1947 to Lucille and Connie Tibbs in Arkansas. He departed this life February 4, 2025 at the age of 77.

Gary had lived many different places but Bristow was home most all his life. After high school, he served faithfully and honorably with the Army National Guard. Gary was a man who loved his country living; an avid outdoors man spending countless hours hunting and sometimes fishing. He was a tinkering man who loved to weld. He had the biggest heart; his kindness always shown through. Gary loved to visit with his family and friends as well as tending to his cows.

Gary is survived by his sister, Debby McClellan and husband Larry of Corinth, Texas; niece, Margaux Hardin; two great nephews, Zachary Warren and Blake Hardin; great niece, Ashley Hardin, many cousins that have remained close and friends to numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Gary’s honor to either American Cancer Society or St Judes.
